IT Artisans is first and foremost an IT innovation firm. My primary discipline is IP network engineering and integration. Additionally, I have a solid background in deploying Wide Area Network technologies such as Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) systems and networks and a variety of Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) topologies. IT Artisans is strategically aligned with a select number of firms with a broad spectrum of service offerings.
In recent years, I have focused on the development of mobile solutions with "always on" Internet connectivity. These systems typically support DMVPN tunnel technology to provide connectivity to centrally hosted resources.
I have also been directly involved with international port security initiatives. Furthermore, I served as the technical and operational lead for the deployment of a national-level IT infrastructure which supported a nuclear nonproliferation and deterrence capability for the Athens 2004 games. The overall architecture was standardized and is currently being deployed throughout the world under a US government-funded program.
I have the appropriate credentials to perform government work (details available upon request) and am willing to travel internationally. Just a representative sample of some of the countries I have performed worked in follows:
Greece, Sri Lanka, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, and the UK.
